After 2 days of fierce competition, the first session of China International Sax Match was successfully closed. It was held jointly by China Global Music Communication Center, China Lige International Music Group, Beijing Yinjiao Cultural Communication Group and China Global Music Instrument Net in the Lige Music Hall (inside Lige Music Instrument city). Judge group constituted by Du Yinjiao, Xie Jinqi, Zhang Ping jiang and Liu Jianbo have selected two first class winners, two second class winners and three third class winners among children team and adult team and more than 50 honorable mentions.
Purpose of this match which cost more than two months in preparation and initiation is to improve the development of sax in China, find out talents for sax performance, enhance general level of sax performance in China and provide opportunity for more sax learners to study and communicate. At last, 19 players entered into final where they perfectly exercised their abilities and closely interact with audiences around the stage. This kind of skill-oriented match has provided new thoughts for future study, broadened teaching methods and enabled students to try bravely without fear of failure.
